PEEP BABIES

About PEEP Babies

Age range: Suitable for parents of babies aged 0-6 months and 6-12 months old

Duration: 6 weeks

Delivery: Available as in-person sessions

PEEP Babies is a fun programme designed to target particular areas of development for children and give your baby the best start in life. PEEP is a fun and friendly group for parents and carers of babies aged 0-12 months. In PEEP groups we share songs, stories and simple activities. This builds on your child's learning, talking and social development.

Sessions are split into two age groups:

  • PEEP Babies 0-6 months

  • PEEP Babies 6-12 months

Delivered by Early Years Practitioners who have a wealth of knowledge, hints and tips to help you in these first few months up to the first year with your new baby. PEEP sessions support parents, carers, babies and children to learn together.

The Programme covers five strands of child development, which it aims to improve by working with parents:

  • personal, social and emotional development

  • communication and language

  • early literacy

  • early maths

  • health and physical development

Make the most of the learning opportunities in everyday life, and support your child's learning through play.

Take part in a relaxed group at your local Family Hub - these sessions also provide a great opportunity for you to meet other parents with new babies in your area to socialise and support each other.
