HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS

About Healthy Relationships

Age range: Suitable for parents with children of any age up to 16 years

Duration: Flexible

Delivery: Online and in-person workshops

Disagreements are normal in any relationship;

But when they become frequent, intense or unresolved, they can have a negative impact on the well-being of you and your children.  Conflict can happen anywhere: with friends, family, neighbors, grandparents, co-workers etc.

A relationship in distress can place children at risk of mental health and behavioural issues, and they may have problems with school and learning.

Evidence shows that when we communicate well and manage stress together, our children do better.

Family Hubs are improving relationship support for all families in Northumberland.

We all face a variety of outside pressures that spill into family life where change can be difficult to manage.

We want to give you the tools and knowledge to see things differently.  To listen and create opportunities to communicate better and reduce stress.

Healthy Relationships offers tools, sessions and 1-2-1 support to reduce conflict and improve everyone’s lives.

Click the button below to fill in a quick online membership form and request to join group-support workshops.  It only takes a few minutes of your time to complete.  Please select which course you need and someone will contact you.

When we argue with our partner or ex-partner, we can get caught up in the heat of the moment. At times like these, it’s difficult to find a way forward.

The above video entitled ‘Parental Conflict, the impact on children’ is a short film to demonstrate the effect of inter-parental conflict on children.
