Our journey towards the Rainbow Flag Award has started.

The Rainbow Flag Award is a national quality assurance framework for all schools and youth-centered organisations to take a positive approach to LGBT+ inclusion. The award focuses on positive LGBT+, (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, plus other related identities), inclusion and visibility.

In our commitment to creating an LGBTQIA+ inclusive space; Blyth Central Family Hub has teamed up with Pride Action North to host a weekly group for young LGBTQIA+ individuals.  The group started in January this year for 13 to 18 year olds, and offers a safe space to share experience, encouragement and solidarity. #TogetherWeAreStronger

Blyth Central Family Hub are hosting an event this summer called ‘Blyth Family Pride’ on the  24th August 12.00 - 4.00 PM, 103 Wright Street, Blyth, NE24 1HG. The event is free to attend and suitable for all ages. So don't worry about having to book tickets in advance. If you need more details, please reach out to Blyth Central Family Hub, details below.
