Early Years Local Offer

The Northumberland Early Years Local Offer is based upon six ‘key values’ that summarise the entitlement all children and their families can expect from Early Years providers across the county.

Click on each principle to learn more:

  1. Ethos

  2. Understanding the child and their unique needs

  3. Partnership with parents and carers

  4. Building staff knowledge and skills

  5. Providing additional support

  6. Partnership with other professionals and sources of support

The following document outlines the guidance and practice early years providers follow, in order to help children and young people with SEND, and their families. Click here to view the Northumberland Early Years Guidance on delivering the Local Offer
